We are starting the year with a BANG!

We started the year off with some amazing suppliers here on the Coast. Just so we could show you what we are all about!

I have so much to tell you about this photo shoot, so I’ll break it into two blogs!

Since this is the first blog, I’m going to give you a sneak peak of the wicked day we had at Tranquil Park Maleny. I also want to introduce to you some beautiful suppliers I just love and adore! A great starting point if you are planning a special event here in Sunshine Coast.

The amazing Vendors

The Venue

As I said we were lucky enough to do our photo shoot at Tranquil Park Maleny. They have recently gone under new management and there are a lot of new improvements and renovations taking place. However one thing that won’t change is that magnificent view overlooking the Glass House Mountains!! With a view like that you cannot go wrong. As soon as I went there I fell in love!

The venue has Patrick’s Pub, a bar with an Irish influence and yes there is Guinness. A huge restaurant to have a drink or two with your meal. Or you could enjoy having a buffet breakfast with that stunning view.

If you are thinking of having a wedding or private function then they also have another room separate from the bar and restaurant. It’s private and still has that beautiful view! If you are not from Sunshine Coast, they have accommodation for you and your guests.

The Styling

One thing I have learnt over the years (going to numerous events) it’s that it doesn’t matter where your event is, a stylist along with other suppliers will sprinkle their magic to really impress. It’s useful if you have no clue what you are doing and it takes the stress away. Trust me you want to leave it to the professionals.

On this particular day I was lucky enough to work beside an amazing stylist, Kobe from House of Poppies + Paper and florist, Emily from The Posy Co

There is not much I can say but wow! With Kobe’s arbour and other little touches and Emily’s beautiful flower arrangements, they worked together to create a lovely ceremony.

I encourage you to check out House of Poppies + Paper, they not only do styling and planning, but also wedding stationary. An elegant, minimalist design (my favourite style).

If you don’t have and event or wedding coming up but still want the joy of the beautiful flowers from The Posy Co, then you can have fresh flowers delivered or attend one of their workshops. From flower crowns to terrariums and DIY Wedding workshops. Just keep an eye out for the latest workshops on their website.

The Photographer

We know we can take some amazeballs photos in the booth, but we prefer to not do this type of shooting. Yep we chose to leave this to Leah! Bliss Photography by Leah is also amazing at what she does and I love working with her. Believe it or not photographers and photo boothers actually love working together because we are so different from each other. Don’t believe anyone who says anything different!

I can’t wait to show you want we have in store from Leah! For now I totally think you should check out her insta page and see her work for yourself!

The Videographer

Ok I know you are dying to know who did this teaser clip! Ashlee and Michael from Jensen & Young definitely made this shoot all about us here at iShoot Photobooth! They are truely professional, fun and quirky! I think their talent shows in this clip and I’m still lost for words! I will say this though, they are really down to earth & you have to meet them to see if they are suitable for your you. Everyone has their favourites and this team is certainly one of mine.

If you are have a special event then check out our Recommended Suppliers Page.

Anyway, if you are planning a special event then take a look at this mini social setup we did at Tranquil Park Maleny.
